Blue
Island Divers is a full service dive shop located in Crown Bay
Marina just west of Charlotte Amalie and just minutes from the
airport on St. Thomas. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and they do an excellent job of making you feel at right at home. Their motto is "Serious Fun", but it really should be "Let's Go Diving", because that is exactly what they do and boy do they deliver that well. Blue Island Divers caters to all levels and types of diving including reef, wreck and technical diving experiences. Besides diving some of the best reefs in the USVI, Blue Island Divers offers some of the best wreck diving around including the Navy Barges (5 total), the WIT Concrete, Miss Opportunity, and the Kennedy, just to name a few. Perhaps their best kept secret is a wreck of a fully intact DC-3 Cargo plane that recently sank off the coast. Blue Island Divers claims to be the only dive operation on the island that knows the location of this wreck. If you plan on diving in St. Thomas, don't miss the chance to dive this wreck...its the experience of a lifetime! There are many dive operations in St. Thomas to choose from, but in my opinion none are close to being in the same class as Blue Island Divers. If you plan on diving in St. Thomas make sure you check these guys out...trust me you will not be disappointed. They definitely deserve my 5 Dive Flag Rating for Excellence. |
